As of May 1st, 2016, Maverest is phasing out their Basic plan. As a result, claims submitted by Basic Only providers will not be processed with Maverest fees. The Basic plan previously allowed dentists to be contracted at 75% of their UCR, unless that number was above the Max Allowable set by Maverest. As of May 1st, 2016, however, providers who are contracted with the Basic plan will only be in-network for future Maverest “Renaissance” products, such as the patient discount plan that will be available later this year and potentially more products which will be introduced in 2017.
If you are a Maverest Basic provider and wish to remain in the Maverest network, you will need to consider adding either the Maverest Preferred or Plus fee schedule options. Maverest also sent notices out to all Basic providers informing them of the change.
