Effective October 1, 2017, patients with dental PPO coverage issued or administered by Ameritas can be seen in-network through United Concordia (UCCI).

If your office is directly contracted with Ameritas, that relationship is primary and the United Concordia/Ameritas leasing arrangement does not affect you. If your office has been out of network with Ameritas, but you are contracted with United Concordia, you will likely see those claims processed in-network on your UCCI fee schedule. If you want to remain out of network, you can opt out by calling (800) 307-8514. If your office has been seeing Ameritas patients through a leasing arrangement with Dentemax, Principal, Connection, etc., and those fees are higher than UCCI’s fees, you will want to opt out of Ameritas under UCCI by calling (800) 307-8514.
